1. Overview

These Contest and Loyalty Program Rules ("Rules") govern participation in loyalty programs, promotions, and contests operated through the HigherScore platform. By participating in any HigherScore loyalty program, you agree to these Rules.

2. Eligibility

To participate in HigherScore loyalty programs, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Be a legal resident of a U.S. state where the program operates
  • Have a valid HigherScore account
  • Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction

Employees of HigherScore, participating brands, and their immediate family members may be excluded from certain promotions.

3. How Points Are Earned

Points may be earned through:

  • Scanning QR codes on eligible products
  • Making qualifying purchases at participating locations
  • Completing daily check-ins
  • Referring new members
  • Participating in promotional challenges

Point values and earning methods are determined by each participating brand and may change without notice.

4. Prize Tiers and Odds

Many HigherScore programs feature tiered reward systems:

  • Base Tier: Standard point awards (most common outcome)
  • Bonus Tier: Enhanced point awards (less common)
  • Jackpot Tier: Premium point awards (rare)

Odds of receiving each tier are set by participating brands and disclosed in program materials. HigherScore uses certified random number generation for tier selection.

5. Redemption

Points may be redeemed for:

  • Discounts on future purchases
  • Merchandise and branded items
  • Exclusive experiences or access
  • Other rewards as specified by participating brands

Rewards are subject to availability. Points cannot be redeemed for cash, cannabis products (where prohibited), or transferred to other accounts.

6. Point Expiration

Points may expire according to program-specific rules. Typical expiration periods range from 6 to 24 months from the date earned. Participating brands will notify members before points expire.

7. Program Modifications

HigherScore and participating brands reserve the right to:

  • Modify point values and earning rates
  • Change available rewards
  • Suspend or terminate programs
  • Disqualify participants who violate these Rules

Material changes will be communicated to participants with reasonable notice.

8. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Creating multiple accounts to earn extra points
  • Scanning products you did not purchase
  • Sharing or selling account access
  • Using automated systems to earn points
  • Any form of fraud or manipulation

Violation of these rules may result in account termination and forfeiture of points.

9. State-Specific Requirements

Loyalty programs and contests are subject to state-specific regulations. Some states require:

  • Registration of promotional programs
  • Specific disclosures about odds and prizes
  • Bonding requirements for prizes over certain values
  • Alternative means of entry without purchase

See state-specific rules for details applicable to your location.

10. Disputes

Any disputes regarding points, rewards, or participation will be resolved in HigherScore' sole discretion. Our decisions are final and binding.
